Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground chicken
  • 50 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoons Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 Burger buns
  • 4 Lettuce leaves
  • 8 Tomato slices
  • 4 Cheese slices (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty about 1.5 cm thick.

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat.

Step 4

Cook the chicken patties for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 75°C or 165°F).

Step 5

If using cheese slices, place one slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking, allowing it to melt.

Step 6

Lightly toast the burger buns in the same skillet or on a separate grill pan.

Step 7

Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise (if using) on the bottom half of each bun. Add a lettuce leaf, a slice or two of tomato, a chicken patty, and any additional condiments you like.

Step 8

Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately with your favorite sides!
