Ingredients

  • 300 grams Button mushrooms
  • 1 large Bell pepper
  • 150 grams Broccoli florets
  • 1 medium Carrot
  • 100 grams Snow peas
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 pieces Green onions
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Clean the button mushrooms with a damp paper towel and slice them into thick slices.

Step 2

Deseed and thinly slice the bell pepper.

Step 3

Cut the broccoli into small florets.

Step 4

Peel and julienne the carrot.

Step 5

Trim the ends of the snow peas.

Step 6

Peel and mince the garlic and ginger.

Step 7

Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water in a small bowl and set aside.

Step 8

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.

Step 9

Add the minced garlic and ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.

Add the broccoli, carrot, and snow peas to the pan and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Add the bell pepper slices and continue to stir-fry for 1 more minute.

Continue to cook for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and everything is well combined.

Season with black pepper to taste.
