Ingredients

  • 2 sheets Puff pastry sheets
  • 200 grams Cremini mushrooms
  • 150 grams Cream cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 1 medium Shallot
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Water

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Finely chop the cremini mushrooms, garlic, and shallot.

Step 3

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the shallot for 2 minutes until softened.

Step 4

Add the garlic and sauté for another 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in the mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until they release their moisture and it cooks off.
