  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Garam masala
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cream
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro leaves
  • 1 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 cups Water

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the mushrooms thoroughly and cut them into halves or quarters depending on their size. Set aside.

Step 2

Finely chop the onion, tomatoes, garlic, and ginger. Slit the green chili lengthwise.

Step 3

Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for 30 seconds.

Step 4

Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the garlic, ginger, and green chili. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 6

Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften, about 5 minutes.

Step 7

Sprinkle in turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.

Step 8

Add the mushrooms to the pan and stir to coat them with the spice mixture. Cover and let the mushrooms release their water for 5 minutes.

Step 9

Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cover and cook for another 10 minutes, until the gravy thickens and the mushrooms are tender.
