Ingredients

  • 500 grams Button mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 3 pieces Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh rosemary (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 6 pieces Wooden or metal skewers

Directions

Step 1

Clean the mushrooms using a damp paper towel to remove any dirt. Pat them dry and set aside.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk the mixture until well combined.

Step 3

Add the mushrooms to the marinade and gently toss to coat. Let the mushrooms marinate for 15–30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Step 4

While the mushrooms marinate, if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.

Step 5

Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium heat.

Step 6

Thread the marinated mushrooms onto the skewers, leaving a small space between each mushroom to ensure even cooking.

Step 7

Place the kabobs on the preheated grill. Cook for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the mushrooms are tender and slightly charred.

Step 8

Remove the kabobs from the grill and transfer to a serving plate. Optionally, garnish with additional fresh herbs for presentation.

Step 9

Serve warm and enjoy your flavorful mushroom kabobs!
