Ingredients

  • 20 pieces Button mushrooms
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley, chopped
  • 0.25 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Step 2

Clean the mushrooms by gently wiping them with a damp paper towel. Carefully remove the stems and set them aside. Arrange the mushroom caps on the prepared baking sheet, hollow side up.

Step 3

Finely chop the mushroom stems and set them aside in a small bowl.

Step 4

In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped mushroom stems and sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until softened and fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Step 5

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the sautéed mushroom stems and garlic with the softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Step 6

Spoon the filling into each mushroom cap, mounding it slightly. Use all the filling evenly across the mushrooms.

Step 7

Bake the stuffed mushrooms in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden and bubbly.

Step 8

Remove from the oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving. Garnish with additional chopped parsley, if desired.

Step 9

Serve warm and enjoy!
