  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 Burger buns
  • 0 optional Toppings (lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, or tzatziki sauce)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped cilantro, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground cinnamon, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

Step 2

Use your hands to mix the ingredients thoroughly until all the spices and herbs are evenly distributed.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty approximately 1.5 cm (1/2 inch) thick.

Step 4

Heat a grill pan or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil to the pan to prevent sticking.

Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked to your desired level of doneness (internal temperature should reach at least 71°C/160°F if using ground beef or 74°C/165°F if using ground lamb for food safety).

Step 6

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster if desired.

Step 7

Assemble the hamburgers by placing the patties on the buns and adding your choice of toppings such as lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, or a dollop of tzatziki sauce.
