Ingredients

  • 2 pieces English muffins
  • 2 pieces Eggs
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 4 pieces Bacon slices (or breakfast sausage patties)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Milk
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.125 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 spray Cooking spray (or oil)

Directions

Step 1

Split the English muffins in half and lightly toast them in a toaster or on a pan over medium heat. Set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, whisk 2 eggs with the milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Step 3

Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or a small amount of oil.

Step 4

Pour half the egg mixture into the pan to form a small round shape (use an egg ring or the lid of a mason jar for a perfectly round shape). Cook until set, about 2-3 minutes, then gently flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Repeat with the remaining egg mixture.

Step 5

In the same pan, cook the bacon slices (or sausage patties) over medium heat until crispy and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease on a paper towel-lined plate.

Step 6

Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on the cut sides of each English muffin half.

Step 7

Assemble each sandwich: Start with the bottom half of the toasted muffin, add the cooked egg, place 2 bacon slices (or 1 sausage patty) on top, and finish with a slice of cheddar cheese. Top with the remaining muffin half.

Step 8

For a melting effect, wrap each assembled sandwich in a square of aluminum foil and place in a warm oven (300°F) for around 5 minutes to allow the cheese to fully melt.

Step 9

Serve hot and enjoy your homemade Mockdonald Breakfast Sandwich!
