Ingredients

  • 250 grams Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 250 grams Scallops
  • 500 grams Mussels (cleaned and debearded)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 medium-sized Shallot (finely chopped)
  • 100 ml Dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 0.25 teaspoons Red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Directions

Step 1

Heat a large skillet or sauté pan over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.

Step 2

Once the olive oil is shimmering, add the minced garlic and chopped shallot. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and slightly softened.

Step 3

Add the shrimp and scallops to the pan in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are opaque and lightly golden. Remove the shrimp and scallops from the pan and set them aside.

Step 4

Add the mussels to the pan and pour in the white wine. Cover the pan with a lid and let the mussels steam for 5 minutes, or until they have opened. Discard any mussels that remain closed.

Step 5

Remove the lid and lower the heat to medium. Stir in the butter, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Let the butter melt and the sauce thicken slightly.

Step 6

Return the cooked shrimp and scallops to the pan. Stir everything together gently to coat the seafood in the sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to warm through.

Step 7

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and give everything one final stir.

Step 8

Serve immediately with crusty bread, over pasta, or alongside a light salad for a complete meal. Enjoy!
