Ingredients

  • 3 pieces Habanero peppers
  • 1 cup Fresh mint leaves
  • 2 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons White vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Water

Directions

Step 1

Wear gloves and carefully remove the stems from the habanero peppers. Slice them in half and remove the seeds if you want to reduce the heat.

Step 2

Peel the garlic cloves.

Step 3

In a small pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and habanero peppers. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the garlic is golden and fragrant. Remove from heat.

Step 4

In a blender or food processor, combine the sautéed garlic and peppers, fresh mint leaves, lime juice, vinegar, honey, salt, water, and the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.

Step 5

Blend on high until the mixture is smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, adding more lime juice or honey for balance.

Step 6

Pour the sauce into a sterilized jar or container and let it cool completely before sealing.

Step 7

Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Serve as a dip, drizzle, or marinade as desired.
