Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 24 pieces small taco shells
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 pieces garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 400 grams canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 100 grams shredded lettuce
  • 150 grams shredded cheddar cheese
  • 120 grams sour cream
  • 50 grams fresh cilantro
  • 1 whole lime
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Dice the small onion and mince the garlic cloves.

Step 3

Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in the taco seasoning, canned diced tomatoes (drained), salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to combine flavors.
