Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry sheets
  • 500 grams pork sausages
  • 1 small, finely chopped onion
  • 50 grams breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon, chopped fresh thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon aniseed
  • 1 large, beaten egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Remove the skins from the sausages and put the sausage meat in a large mixing bowl.

Step 3

Add finely chopped onion, breadcrumbs, thyme, aniseed, salt, and black pepper to the bowl with the sausage meat. Thoroughly mix using your hands or a spoon until well combined.

Unroll the puff pastry sheets on a clean surface. If using frozen pastry, ensure it is fully thawed before unrolling.

Cut each pastry sheet into two equal rectangles lengthwise, resulting in four long strips from the two sheets.
