Ingredients

  • 120 grams Unsalted butter
  • 150 grams Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 150 grams Granulated sugar
  • 50 grams Light brown sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 90 grams All-purpose flour
  • 20 grams Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 50 grams Chocolate chips (optional, for topping)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 24-cup mini muffin tin or line it with mini paper liners.

In a heatproof bowl, melt the butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips together over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method), or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth. Let cool slightly.
