Ingredients

  • 400 grams yellow noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 pieces garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 pieces shallots, thinly sliced
  • 200 grams chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 100 grams shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 100 grams cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 stalks green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fried shallots, for garnish

Directions

Step 1

Cook the yellow noodles according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and sliced shallots, and stir-fry until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Increase the heat to high, add the sliced chicken breast, and stir-fry until it starts to brown, about 3-4 minutes.
