Ingredients

  • 2 cups Chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup Canned diced tomatoes

  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Finely chop the onion and garlic.

Step 2

In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the olive oil, chopped onion, and garlic. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the onions are softened.
