  • 0.5 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 0 Oil for cooking

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, add whole wheat flour, besan, chopped fenugreek leaves, yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds, salt, and 2 tablespoons of oil.

Step 2

Gradually add the water little by little while mixing with the ingredients to form a soft and pliable dough.

Step 3

Step 8

Flip it over, drizzle a little oil around the edges, and cook the other side until golden brown spots appear.

Step 9

Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.

Step 10

Serve the methi theplas hot with yogurt, pickles, or any chutney of your choice.
