Ingredients

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 2 cups water

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a medium saucepan, combine the rice, water, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
