Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Ground beef (80% lean)
  • 0.5 lbs Ground pork
  • 0.5 cups Bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cups Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoons Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoons Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 cups Fresh spinach leaves
  • 1.5 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cups Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 0.5 cups Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, milk, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.

Step 3

Place a large piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap on your counter. Spread the meat mixture into a rectangular shape, about 1/2-inch thick.

Step 4

Spread the fresh spinach leaves evenly across the meat, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Step 5

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the spinach. Then sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley on top.

Step 6

Using the parchment paper or plastic wrap to assist, carefully roll the meat up tightly from one short side to the other, forming a roulade. Seal the edges by pinching them together gently.

Step 7

Transfer the roulade to the prepared baking sheet, seam-side down.

Step 8

In a small bowl, mix the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Brush this glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf roulade.

Step 9

Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 160°F (71°C). Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Step 10

Slice the roulade into thick slices, and serve warm. Enjoy!
