Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground beef (80% lean)
  • 0.5 pounds Ground pork
  • 1 medium Onion, finely diced
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley, finely chopped
  • 1.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar
  • 0.25 cup Ketchup (for glaze)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or grease a loaf pan.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and milk. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to allow the breadcrumbs to absorb the liquid.

Step 3

Add the ground beef, ground pork, diced onion, minced garlic, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, Dijon mustard, parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika to the breadcrumb mixture.

Step 4

Mix everything together using your hands or a sturdy spoon until well combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the meatloaf dense.

Step 5

Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it onto the prepared baking sheet or into the loaf pan.

Step 6

In a small bowl, mix together the glaze ingredients: ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar.

Step 7

Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Step 8

Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Step 9

Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Step 10

Serve warm with your favorite side dishes, such as mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. Enjoy!
