Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Ground beef
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 medium (finely chopped) Onion
  • 2 cloves (minced) Garlic
  • 0.5 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.25 cup Ketchup (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Apple cider vinegar

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a loaf pan.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, chopped onion, minced garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated, but do not overmix to avoid tough meatloaf.

Step 3

Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared baking sheet or loaf pan. Shape it into a loaf if using a baking sheet.

Step 4

In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar for the glaze.

Step 5

Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Step 6

Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) when checked with a meat thermometer.

Step 7

Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Step 8

Serve warm with your favorite side dishes, such as mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables. Enjoy!
