Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 0.5 cup Yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz Refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 large Egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, or until the onion becomes translucent.

Season the meat mixture with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir to combine, and remove from heat. Let the filling cool slightly.
