Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese slices
  • 1 tube Canned crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard
  • 8 pieces Pickle slices
  • 4 whole (for eyes) Large black olives

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Step 3

Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty about 1/2-inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent puffing up during cooking.

Step 4

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned but not fully cooked through (they will finish cooking in the oven). Transfer the patties to the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5

Lay a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty.

Step 6

Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into strips. Using a sharp knife or kitchen scissors, cut the strips into thinner bands, about 1/2 inch wide.

Step 7

Wrap the crescent dough strips around each burger patty in a crisscross pattern, leaving small gaps to give the appearance of mummy bandages. Be sure to leave space for the “eyes” at the top of the patty.

Step 8

Bake the wrapped patties in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.

Step 9

While the burgers are baking, make the condiment spread by mixing ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard in a small bowl.

Step 10

Remove the burgers from the oven and let cool slightly. Cut the black olives in half to create the “eyes” and place two halves at the top of each patty.

Step 11

Serve the Mc Mummy’s Burgers with the condiment spread, pickle slices, and your favorite side, such as fries or a salad.
