Ingredients

  • 120 grams unsalted butter
  • 200 grams semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 200 grams granulated sugar
  • 50 grams light brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 100 grams all-purpose flour
  • 30 grams unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 200 grams mini marshmallows
  • 50 grams chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease or line an 8x8-inch (20x20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until smooth and combined. Set aside to cool slightly.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, light brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and pale in color.
