  • 200 grams unsalted butter
  • 200 grams granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 200 grams self-raising flour

  • 3 tablespoons orange marmalade (for glaze)
  • 100 grams powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice (for glaze)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a 20cm (8-inch) round cake tin with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar using a hand mixer or stand mixer until light and fluffy.
