Ingredients

  • 8 sheets graham crackers
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • 1 tablespoon tequila (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon orange liqueur (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons coarse sugar or salt (for garnish)
  • 4 pieces lime wedges (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Place the graham crackers into a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form. Alternatively, place the graham crackers in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter. Stir until evenly moistened. Set aside.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form. Transfer the whipped cream to a separate bowl and set aside.
