Ingredients

  • 2 packets Maggi instant noodles
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 piece Red chili, sliced
  • 1 medium Onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato ketchup
  • 1 cup Cabbage, shredded
  • 1 medium Carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup Cooked chicken or shrimp (optional)
  • 2 stalks Green onions, chopped
  • 2 pieces Lime wedges

Directions

Step 1

Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the Maggi instant noodles as per the package instructions, but avoid overcooking. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Add the minced garlic, sliced red chili, and sliced onion to the pan. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until fragrant and softened.
