Ingredients

  • 500 grams Large prawns (peeled and deveined)
  • 80 grams Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 100 ml Chicken stock or water
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water (for cornstarch slurry)
  • 2 stalks Spring onions (sliced for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the prawns under cold water, pat them dry with a paper towel, and set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, prepare the sauce by combining ketchup, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Mix well and set aside.

In a separate small bowl, make the cornstarch slurry by dissolving the cornstarch in 2 tablespoons of water. Set aside.
