Ingredients

  • 500 g Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground coriander
  • 0.5 tsp Ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 0.25 tsp Cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 200 g Plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Tahini
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 Tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1 Cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 Red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 Lettuce leaves
  • 4 Flatbreads or pita breads

Directions

Step 1

Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground cardamom, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

Pour the marinade over the chicken pieces, making sure they are evenly coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
