Ingredients

  • 240 ml Freshly brewed hot coffee
  • 40 ml Irish whiskey
  • 2 tsp Brown sugar
  • 60 ml Heavy cream

Directions

Step 1

1. Brew a fresh cup of hot coffee (about 240ml) using your preferred method.

2. Preheat a heatproof glass by filling it with hot water for a minute, then discard the water.

3. Add 2 teaspoons of brown sugar to the preheated glass.

4. Pour in 40ml of Irish whiskey over the sugar.

5. Fill the rest of the glass with the freshly brewed coffee, leaving about 2-3cm of space at the top.

6. Stir gently until the sugar is fully dissolved.

7. Lightly whip the heavy cream (60ml) just until it thickens slightly and can float on the coffee.

8. Carefully pour the whipped cream over the back of a spoon so it floats on the surface of the coffee.
