Directions

Step 1

Slice the yellow onions into thin rings.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and butter. Once melted, add the sliced onions, kosher salt, and black pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 10-12 minutes or until the onions are golden brown and caramelized. Remove the onions from the pan and set aside.
