Ingredients

  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground coriander
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 4 pieces Flatbreads or tortillas
  • 1 large Tomato
  • 0.5 large Cucumber
  • 4 leaves Lettuce leaves
  • 150 ml Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 5 leaves Mint leaves

Directions

Step 1

Finely chop the onion and garlic.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with the chopped onion, garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Step 3

Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a long, thick sausage-like shape.

Step 4

Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat and cook the kebabs for about 6-8 minutes on each side until they are fully cooked through.

Step 5

While the kebabs are cooking, prepare the vegetables: slice the tomato and cucumber thinly and wash the lettuce leaves.

Step 6

In a small bowl, mix the yogurt with lemon juice and finely chopped mint leaves to prepare the yogurt sauce.

Step 7

Warm the flatbreads or tortillas in a dry pan or in the oven until soft.

Step 8

To assemble the wrap, place one cooked kebab on a flatbread, top with slices of tomato, cucumber, lettuce, and a generous drizzle of yogurt sauce.

Step 9

Roll the flatbread tightly around the fillings, securing it with a piece of foil or parchment paper if needed.

Step 10

Repeat the process for the remaining kebabs and flatbreads.

Step 11

Serve warm and enjoy your homemade kebab wraps!
