Ingredients

  • 16 oz Cream cheese
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 Green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup Pecans, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 sheet Plastic wrap
  • 1 box Crackers (for serving)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.

Step 2

Using a spatula or an electric mixer on low speed, mix the ingredients until well combined.

Step 3

Lay a sheet of plastic wrap on a clean counter and transfer the cheese mixture onto the middle of the plastic wrap.

Step 4

Use your hands, with the help of the plastic wrap, to shape the cheese mixture into a ball.

Step 5

Once the cheese ball is formed, wrap it tightly in the plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

Step 6

Just before serving, place the chopped pecans and parsley (if using) onto a large plate. Remove the cheese ball from the plastic wrap and roll it in the pecan mixture until evenly coated.

Step 7

Serve the cheese ball on a platter with crackers, breadsticks, or vegetable sticks for dipping.
