Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground ham
  • 1 pound Ground pork
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow mustard
  • 0.25 cup Water

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground ham, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, and eggs. Mix thoroughly using your hands or a spatula until well combined.

Step 3

Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch balls and place them on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.

Step 4

In a medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar has dissolved and the glaze is smooth. Remove from heat.

Step 5

Brush a generous amount of glaze over each ham ball.

Step 6

Bake the ham balls in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and brush the ham balls with more glaze.

Step 7

Return the ham balls to the oven and continue baking for an additional 20 minutes, or until fully cooked through and golden brown.

Step 8

Transfer the ham balls to a serving plate, spoon any remaining glaze over the top, and serve warm. Enjoy!
