Ingredients

  • 200 grams Ground chicken breast
  • 100 grams Firm tofu
  • 50 grams Shelled edamame
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 24 pieces Dumpling wrappers
  • 1 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 1 liter Water

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, crumbled tofu, and edamame beans. Mix well using your hands or a spatula until well incorporated.

Step 2

Add the soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, chopped green onions, sesame oil, and salt to the protein mixture. Stir to combine all ingredients evenly.

Step 3

Lay a dumpling wrapper on a clean surface and place about one tablespoon of the filling in the center of the wrapper.

Step 4

Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water using your finger or a pastry brush. Fold the wrapper in half to enclose the filling and press the edges together to seal, ensuring there are no air bubbles.

Step 5

Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling.

Step 6

Sprinkle a little flour on a tray and place finished dumplings on it to prevent sticking.

Step 7

Bring 1 liter of water to a boil in a large pot.

Step 8

Carefully drop the dumplings into the boiling water in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot.

Step 9

Boil the dumplings for about 5-7 minutes or until they float to the surface and the filling is fully cooked.

Step 10

Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and serve hot, with additional soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce on the side.
