Ingredients

  • 200 grams Besan (chickpea flour)
  • 120 grams Ghee (clarified butter)
  • 150 grams Jaggery powder
  • 50 grams Vanilla-flavored protein powder
  • 50 grams Almonds
  • 50 grams Cashews
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder

Directions

Step 1

Begin by separating the almonds and cashews. Roughly chop the almonds and cashews and set aside.

Step 2

Heat a heavy-bottomed pan on low flame and add the ghee to it.

Step 3

Once the ghee melts, add the besan to the pan. Keep the flame on low and stir continuously to avoid burning.

Step 4

Roast the besan until it changes to a golden brown color and emits a nutty aroma. This should take about 20 minutes.

Step 5

Once the besan is roasted, add the chopped almonds and cashews to the pan. Stir well so that they are evenly distributed in the mixture.

Step 6

Add the protein powder to the besan-nut mixture. Mix thoroughly to ensure the protein powder is well incorporated.

Step 7

Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool slightly for about 5 minutes.

Step 8

Add the cardamom powder and jaggery powder to the mixture. Stir well to combine.

Step 9

While the mixture is still warm, shape it into small, round laddus using your hands.

Step 10

Allow the laddus to cool completely before storing them in an airtight container.
