  • 60 ml Almond milk, unsweetened

  • 0.5 teaspoons Rose water
  • 10 strands Saffron strands
  • 2 sheets Edible silver leaf (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Begin by spreading the cashew nuts on a baking sheet and toasting them at 180°C (350°F) for about 5 minutes, or until they are lightly golden and fragrant.

Allow the cashews to cool slightly, then grind them in a food processor to a fine powder. Be careful not to over-process as this will release the oils and turn them into a paste.

In a non-stick pan, add the almond milk and coconut sugar over medium heat. Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves completely and the mixture starts to thicken slightly, about 4-5 minutes.
