Ingredients

  • 500 grams Potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 100 grams Green peas
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Peel and dice the potatoes into small cubes.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Step 3

Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds to the hot oil. Sauté until they start to crackle.

Step 4

Add the diced potatoes to the pan and stir them into the seeds.

Step 5

Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt over the potatoes. Mix well to coat evenly.

Step 6

Cover the pan with a lid and let the potatoes cook on low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add green peas to the potatoes and mix well.

Cover again and cook for another 5 minutes or until potatoes are tender and peas are cooked through.
