Ingredients

  • 4 slices Sourdough bread
  • 6 slices Cooked ham (thinly sliced)
  • 2 slices Provolone cheese
  • 2 slices Pineapple rings (canned or fresh)
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (softened)
  • 4 leaves Fresh basil leaves

Directions

Step 1

Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread. Set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and honey until well combined. Spread the mixture evenly onto the non-buttered sides of two slices of bread.

Step 3

Layer 3 slices of ham, 1 slice of provolone cheese, 1 pineapple ring, and 2 fresh basil leaves on each of the mayonnaise-coated slices of bread.

Top each sandwich with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side facing outwards.

Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
