Ingredients

  • 2 sheets pre-made puff pastry sheets
  • 200 grams cooked ham
  • 6 pieces large eggs
  • 100 grams shredded cheese (cheddar or gouda)
  • 50 milliliters heavy cream
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional, chopped)
  • 1 piece egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for egg wash)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Dice the cooked ham into small cubes and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, beat 6 eggs and add in the heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and optional fresh parsley. Mix well until everything is combined.

Gently stir in the diced ham and shredded cheese into the egg mixture.

On a clean surface, roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut each into thirds, creating 6 equal rectangles in total.
