  • 8 slices Sliced ham
  • 8 slices Sliced Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Water (for egg wash)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.

Add the warm water and olive oil, and mix together until it forms a soft dough.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 8–10 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm spot for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle, approximately 12x10 inches.
