Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch deep dish pie crust
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup diced cooked ham
  • 1.5 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 0.5 cup chopped green onions

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate or tart pan. Prick the bottom and sides with a fork. Line the crust with parchment paper, then fill it with pie weights or dried beans.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove the parchment and weights and bake for an additional 5 minutes. Allow the crust to cool slightly.
