Ingredients

  • 400 grams Paneer
  • 100 grams Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh cilantro
  • 8 pieces Wooden skewers

Directions

Step 1

Cut the paneer into 1-inch cubes and set aside.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.

Step 3

Add the paneer cubes to the marinade and gently mix until all the pieces are well-coated.

Step 4

Cover the bowl and let the paneer marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour for best results.

Step 5

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.

Step 6

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly brush with vegetable oil.

Step 7

Thread the marinated paneer cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.

Step 8

Grill the paneer for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until you see a slight char and the paneer turns golden brown.

Step 9

Once grilled, remove the paneer from the grill and garnish with chopped fresh cilantro.

Step 10

Serve hot with lemon wedges and your favorite chutney or dipping sauce.
