Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground beef
  • 250 grams Ground pork
  • 100 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 60 milliliters Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 3 units Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and milk. Let them soak for about 5 minutes, allowing the breadcrumbs to absorb the liquid.

Step 2

Add the ground beef, ground pork, eggs, grated Parmesan, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper to the breadcrumb mixture.

Step 3

Using clean hands, mix the ingredients together until they are well combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the meatballs tough.

Step 4

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grill grates using a brush or a paper towel dipped in olive oil.

Step 5

Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter, which should yield around 20 to 24 meatballs.

Step 6

Arrange the meatballs on the grill, leaving space between each one. Grill for about 10 to 12 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure all sides get a nice, even sear and they are cooked through.

Step 7

Check that the internal temperature of the meatballs reaches 75°C (165°F) for safety.

Step 8

Remove the meatballs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Step 9

Serve the grilled meatballs hot with your choice of dipping sauces or over your favorite pasta.
