Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground beef (80% lean)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 large garlic cloves
  • 60 grams breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 15 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix until all ingredients are well combined, but do not overmix.

Step 4

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Lightly grease the grill grates with olive oil using a brush or paper towel.

Step 5

Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.

Step 6

Once cooked, remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Step 7

Serve the patties on burger buns with your choice of toppings or as a standalone dish with a side of salad or vegetables.
