Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Country style pork ribs
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1.5 cups Barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your grill to a medium heat, approximately 350°F (175°C). If using a charcoal grill, prepare a two-zone fire with a hot and cooler side.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper to create a dry rub.

Step 3

Pat the pork ribs dry with paper towels. Rub them generously with olive oil, then evenly coat them with the prepared dry rub, pressing the mixture into the meat with your hands for better adhesion.

Step 4

Place the ribs on the cooler side of the grill (indirect heat), bone side down. Close the grill lid and cook for 60 minutes, turning every 15 minutes to ensure even cooking.

Step 5

Meanwhile, combine the barbecue sauce and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl. This will be used as the basting sauce.

Step 6

After 60 minutes of cooking, begin basting the ribs with the barbecue sauce mixture at every turn. Continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 190°F (88°C) for optimal tenderness.

Step 7

Once cooked, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 5–10 minutes to redistribute juices.

Step 8

Cut the ribs into serving portions and serve alongside your favorite grilled sides or coleslaw. Enjoy!
