Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 loaf Baguette or ciabatta bread
  • 4 tablespoons Pesto sauce
  • 4 slices Fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large Tomato
  • 4 leaves Fresh basil leaves (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (softened)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil on both sides.
