Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 1 large Tomato
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 4 pieces Burger buns

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to make a marinade.

Step 2

Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour for best results.

Step 3

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Step 4

Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the juices run clear.

Step 5

While the chicken is grilling, slice the tomato into thick slices and prepare the lettuce leaves by washing and drying them.

Step 6

In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the Dijon mustard until well combined to make the spread.

Step 7

Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.

Step 8

Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until they are golden brown.

Step 9

Assemble the burgers by spreading a generous amount of the mayonnaise-mustard mix on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato on top.

Step 10

Slice the grilled chicken breasts if desired, and place one piece on top of each prepared bun. Top each with the other half of the bun.

Step 11

Serve the burgers immediately while they are hot and enjoy your delicious grilled chicken burger.
