Ingredients

  • 2 pieces green tea bags
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 5 leaves mint leaves (optional for garnish)
  • 2 slices lemon slices (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a small saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a gentle boil over medium heat.

Peel and grate 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger. Add the ginger to the boiling water and let it simmer for 2 minutes to release its flavor.
