  • 1 lb fresh green beans
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp lemon zest

  • 2 cups ice cubes

Directions

Wash and trim the ends off the green beans. Set aside.

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. While the water is heating, prepare a large bowl filled with ice water for blanching.
