Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ribeye steak
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 6 cups Romaine lettuce
  • 1 piece Cucumber
  • 1.5 cups Cherry tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup Red onion
  • 0.5 cup Kalamata olives
  • 0.5 cup Feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh dill
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cumin

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Step 2

In a small bowl, prepare the steak seasoning by mixing 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Step 3

Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the ribeye steak. Let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Step 4

Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until the desired doneness is achieved. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin strips.

Step 5

While the steak rests, prepare the salad. Chop the romaine lettuce and transfer it to a large salad bowl.

Step 6

Slice the cucumber into half-moons, halve the cherry tomatoes, and thinly slice the red onion. Add these to the salad bowl along with the kalamata olives and crumbled feta cheese.

Step 7

In a small jar or bowl, whisk together the dressing: 2 tablespoons olive oil, red wine vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, remaining 1 teaspoon oregano, fresh dill, and cumin. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, if desired.

Step 8

Toss the salad with the dressing until well coated.

Step 9

Top the salad with the sliced steak and serve immediately. Enjoy your Greek Steak Salad!
